Milton Keynes Reimagined
University of Westminster MA Architecture Pecha Kucha
Thursday 22 February / Doors 7pm / Free
‘What new ideals could be threaded through MK’s fabric to make it represent the future now and not just that of that of the 1960s?’ - MK 2.0, University of Westminster MA Architecture course module.
With mounting pressure for more affordable housing and more sustainable/localised approaches to food production, current students from the University of Westminster MA Architecture course were tasked with reimagining the verdant landscaped borders of MK’s grid roads as possible sites to address these ever more pressing issues. Utilising the Pecha Kucha format, this event will see the students present their design ideas to date followed by an informal discussion session in response to their proposals.
